Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.With over 25 years of professional experience in the performing arts, James (he/him) is an award-winning vocalist and educator who has performed internationally in opera, musical theatre, and concert settings, including appearances with Queensland Opera, Merola Opera Program, The Kurt Weill Festival, The Auckland Festival, and the Argento Ensemble—whose performance of Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde was named a Top Ten Performance of 2015 by the New York Concert Review. A winner of both the Lotte Lenya and Joy in Singing competitions, James brings deep expertise in vocal technique, interpretation, and storytelling across classical, art song, and contemporary musical theatre repertoire. He has trained with renowned vocal pedagogues from the Manhattan School of Music and beyond, and is passionate about helping singers develop healthy, expressive, sustainable vocalism rooted in authentic artistry.
